With this year’s holiday season in full swing, chances are you’ll either end up hosting or attending some sort of potluck feast. Figuring out what to make or bring can be tough – do you bring an appetizer? Dessert? Sure, those’ll work, but then you have to deal with accommodating different allergies, tastes, or diets, which is never fun. Also, B-O-R-I-N-G. Why not bring something new to the table (see what I did there?) and contribute a warm, festive cocktail sure to stun any guest?

Before we get into the recipes, there are a couple logistical details to get out of the way:

  1. You’ll definitely want to at least double the recipes to ensure everyone gets their fair share of your goodness!
  2. If you’re bringing rather than hosting, instead of making the drink at home and lugging it to your potluck, put all the ingredients in a bag (there won’t be too many, promise!), pick up a lightweight, heat-resistant pitcher, and put it all together once you’ve arrived. You’ll have a fresher drink and no mess en-route to your party! Target has some great, cheap pitchers to get you started.

Okay, now that the dull stuff is out of the way, let’s get to the recipes! These are the best of the best:
