Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way…

Labor Day is coming on Monday which can only mean one thing: summer is (un)officially over. As sad as we are that wearing white is out, we can’t handle our excitement for Fall. Why? Who wouldn’t love comfier clothes, pumpkin spiced lattes and SO MUCH GOOD FOOD? Exactly.

That being said, as much as we’re obsessed with Fall, changing seasons gives us way too much anxiety – because new clothes means putting those shorts away somewhere(?) and new ingredients equals figuring out a whole new lunch plan.

Sound familiar? Thought so… which is why we’ve written out a step-by-step guide to falling flawlessly for Fall. Here goes:

STEP 1: Store away summer clothes

Okay, so you can keep one pair of white jeans – you go Glen Coco (Mean Girls, duh) – but all those rompers, mini skirts and sundresses won’t serve you any purpose in sweater weather. Regardless of the size of your apartment/house, The Container Store has everything you need. We’re definitely getting like… 57 of these, because they’re just so perfect for under-the-bed storage:

STEP 2: Shop it like it’s hot

See what we did there?

Okay, you put your summer clothes away and now your closet is looking pretty bare. Well, good thing Labor Day is on Monday! Little known fact: Labor Day sales are THE BOMB. Here are our favorites:

Nordstrom Rack: this weekend, you’ll receive a 25% discount on all red-tag clearance. Which is awesome.
