2.2 million beanbags have been recalled after two children suffocated.

Danger lurks in the most unexpected places. Today, the Consumer Products Safety Commission announced the recall of 2.2 million beanbag chairs made by Ace Bayou. The beanbags have zippered openings that can be dangerous to small children. Recently, two toddlers in Texas died of suffocation by crawling inside of one.   If you purchased a beanbag from Amazon.com, Walmart.com or Meijer.com before July 2013, it may be dangerous to small children and subject to this recall. More information can be found on the Consumer Product Safety Commission website.
